Role Scope

Engineer mechanical design for energy storage: BESS enclosures, thermal management, and site integration behind the meter.
Own thermal design: cooling for containers and enclosures across climates, validated rather than vendored.
Integrate storage mechanically into the campus: pads, clearances, fire separation, and service access engineered.
Review vendor systems hard: what the datasheet claims versus what the fleet will live with.

What We're Looking For

The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
You've done mechanical engineering for BESS, power electronics, or thermal-critical enclosures.
You've engineered thermal management validated by test.
You know the safety codes shaping storage siting, NFPA 855 among them, and design to them.
You evaluate vendor equipment beyond the brochure.
You've supported field deployment of your designs.
Bonus: Lithium-ion thermal behavior. CFD. Fire suppression interfaces. Utility-scale storage projects.
