The People Team

The People team keeps Fluidstack staffed and compliant as the company scales fast across sites and functions. That includes the people we employ directly and the contractors and vendors who extend our workforce day to day.

Examples of key problems the team is working on

Standing up a consistent, compliant process for bringing on and managing contractors across every team and location.
Choosing and rolling out the systems that track contractor spend, tenure, and access.
Giving hiring managers a clear, fast path to the right workforce solution for their need.
Working with Legal and Finance to keep classification and compliance practices current as the program grows.

Role Scope

Own day-to-day management of Fluidstack's contractor and extended workforce program, from intake through offboarding.
Manage vendor and staffing supplier relationships, holding partners accountable for service quality and responsiveness.
Build and maintain compliant processes for worker classification, onboarding, access, and data protection.
Advise hiring managers and stakeholders on workforce solutions, weighing cost, speed, compliance, and risk.
Improve the systems and workflows behind the program, including vendor management tooling, reporting, and documentation.
Partner with Legal, Finance, and IT to resolve escalations and keep the program's controls current as it scales.

What We're Looking For

4+ years of experience in contingent workforce, extended workforce, procurement operations, or HR operations.
Hands-on experience with a Vendor Management System (VMS) or similar contractor-management tooling.
Working knowledge of worker classification, co-employment, and the compliance considerations behind contractor programs.
Experience partnering across Legal, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to resolve workforce issues.
A strong operator who solves problems directly and builds solutions rather than waiting on vendors to do it.
Comfortable operating with ambiguity and moving with urgency in a fast-changing business.
Bonus: Experience scaling a contractor program at a high-growth or infrastructure company. Interest in using automation to reduce manual program work.
